Welcome!

The first thing I want to tell you is that I am a new born baby when it comes to blogging. I have read them, and enjoyed them, but never sat down to actually create one. I’ve been told, that needs to change. So, this new born is getting courageous and taking a first, shaky step. Here goes. Why - you may ask have I decided to create a blog, to put myself and my meager thoughts out there for all in cyberspace to see? Good question.
I am a writer. I have had a passion for the written word as long as I can remember - both in reading, and in writing. Over the years I have written unpublished - short stories for my children pertaining to whatever trauma they were going through at the time. Poems, as a way to express my feelings and to heal, from the traumas in my life. And inspirational articles for our church newsletter, for over thirteen years, hopefully encouraging others who are experiencing life’s trials. I feel my writing is a gift from God and I try my hardest to write for His glory.
So, in the nutshell, I am creating my first blog, as a tool to hone my craft, but also, hopefully to bring glory to God. Even if it is through a good laugh, or a shed tear.
